It’s going to cost you more money to change your ticket if you fly with two major air carriers.

U.S. Airways will now charge you between $200 and $300 to switch your ticket.

They follow in the footsteps of United Airlines, who boosted its fee to $200, up from $150.

The airlines say they need the money to cover the costs of making ticket changes.

But the change fees have become one of their major sources of revenue.
