JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has canceled the Amber Alert for two small children that were reportedly abducted from Copiah County.
Three-year-old Dior Wade and one-year-old Zarie Wade were last seen on Wednesday around 4:30 p.m. By early the next morning, the M.B.I. had sent out a Amber Alert broadcast for the two children, saying they were both last seen with Teanna Dixon, 28, and Derek Young, 29.
The adults were driving a 2016 silver Lincoln MKZ with a Georgia license plate.
Authorities didn’t initially say if the suspects had been captured when the children were located just before 11 a.m. Thursday. They also did release any additional information about where the children were located.
Initial information suggested they may have been traveling towards Hinds County, Mississippi.
