(Washington, D.C.) The annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. is expected to bring tens of thousands of people to protest the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision.

Abortion opponents hold the march annually.

A protest outside the Supreme Court as well as one near the Capitol are planned.

A vigil was held Tuesday on the actual anniversary of the ruling.

Those who attended placed 3,300 flowers outside the court to symbolize the number of  abortions performed daily in the United States.
