(Memphis) When it comes to predicting the success of marriage, arguments over children, sex and in-laws won’t increase your risk for divorce, but arguments over money will.
That’s according to researchers of a study at Kansas State University.
They surveyed 4,500 couples and found no matter how much money a person makes, arguments about money are the number one predictor of divorce.
The study found that it takes a couple longer to recover from fights about finances than any other kind of argument because the arguments are so intense.
