BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. — A trio of armed robbers strike again in Blytheville, Arkansas.

It’s the latest of many robberies in the town, including one we told you about Monday involving a Domino’s Pizza, where the manager and a suspect exchanged gunfire.

About an hour after our story aired, the Dollar General on the very same street was also robbed.

“Yes I am…I’m very concerned,” Donna Eiler said.

Eiler frequently shops at the Dollar General on North 6th Street in Blytheville and had no idea the place was robbed Monday night by three men wearing dark hoodies and carrying pistols.

Blytheville Police report one of the suspects held a gun to a female clerk’s head and said”I will kill you.”

The man forced her to open a cash drawer while two accomplices stood by, then all three left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Demitrious Washington is also concerned because he’s just landed a job at the Dollar General.

“It’s kind of scary cause I didn’t know anything about it till my mom told me about it.  And I’m like, ‘Wow, I’m kind of scared now.’ ‘Cause I don’t want to come up here and get robbed, you know,” he said.

Blytheville Police are anxious to catch these bad guys who are terrorizing North 6th Street.

The suspects fit the descriptions of the three men who attempted to rob Domino’s Pizza on January 28th. That robbery erupted into gunfire between one of the robbers and the Domino’s manager, who was packing her own heat.

Police also want to know if the three were involved in robbing Chick-A-Deal in late January.

The recent crime spree has everyone on high alert.

Gale Wilf lives a block away from the Dollar General in a part of Blytheville he used to feel safe in.

“Sure hate to hear it. This is a nice neighborhood, quiet, friendly type neighborhood. And it’s a little scary to see these robberies getting this close, you know,” he said.

Blytheville Police are reviewing surveillance camera video from all the robbery locations and are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to arrests.
