MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police have arrested a suspect for one of this past weekend’s deadly shootings.

Antoine Hinton, 29, was booked Tuesday morning on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping.

Police said he is responsible for shooting and killing 25-year-old Jeremy Lampkin around noon Sunday on Patterson Street near the main University of Memphis campus.

Police said Lampkin was trying to break up a disturbance between Hinton and a woman when he was shot.
