MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Kids in Memphis got free school supplies and screenings Thursday at one of the area’s newest health clinics.
Resurrection Health opened its doors on Elvis Presley Boulevard in Whitehaven at the end of June but decided to hold off on its grand opening.
Parents also got to make sure their kids got all the necessary immunizations and physicals for the new school year.
Resurrection Health opened another clinic last year on American Way in Southeast Memphis and hopes to open a third in Frayser.
According to the Shelby County Schools’ website, there are several immunizations that children enrolling should get before school starts.
