ARLINGTON, Tenn. — An attempted murder suspect is in custody after a barricade situation in Arlington.

It happened in the 8900 block of Jack Bond Road.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office worked to get the situation under control.

Deuterondus Anderson was taken into custody on criminal attempt first-degree murder charges, according to SCSO.

He was wanted for shooting a woman at the County View Apartments in February. The victim was critically wounded.

The case is now in the hands of the US Marshals.
