GULFPORT, Miss. — A Biloxi mother is charged with attempted murder after she allegedly stabbed her 3-year-old child, WLOX reports.
The child was stabbed in the abdomen at a Gulfport beach late Monday night, Gulfport Police spokesman Sgt. Damon McDaniel said.
The child’s father called for help after the incident, McDaniel said.
The child was taken to the hospital, and police are investigating what happened.
The mother, Nomatter Gava-Hudson, 26, was arrested. She is being held on a $1 million bond.
