(Memphis)  A Southeast Shelby County restaurant that was declared a public nuisance by the DA’s office will be reopening this Friday.

Blu Restaurant and Bar on Hacks Cross Road was shut down last week after authorities say they were able to buy illegal drugs from employees.

Today, those with Blu say the restaurant will reopen with not only a cosmetic makeover, but new staffing and security and regular meetings with the DA’s office.
