ECRU, Miss. — Pontotoc County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the murders of a couple in a home on Highway 346 near Ecru.
Evelyn Baker, 57, and Donald Ralph Baker, 70, were found dead Sunday by a relative.
Investigators told WREG the couple was killed in the same room, but Evelyn Baker was dragged into the kitchen.
The couple was last seen Saturday night when they went out to dinner.
