MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Fire Department is investigating a body found after a house caught on fire at 3650 North Lloyd Circle.

The fire happened at 10:39 a.m. Saturday morning.

Fire investigators said during the search procedure; a female body was found in the bedroom area.

The victim’s identification has not been released to the public.

The fire was brought under control at 11:02 a.m.

An 81-year-old female was treated and released for smoke inhalation.

No other injuries have been reported.

Investigators also said the home did not have a working smoking detector and the cause of the fire was accidental as a result of a vehicle fire in the carport that extended to the house.
