Boil-Water Alert issued for parts of Panola County

JACKSON, Miss. — The Mississippi State Department of Health has issued a Boil-Water Alert for those who get their water from Como in Panola County.

According to the release, a test showed coliform bacteria in the water.

In all, this affects more than 1245 customers in the area.

To use the water officials said you have to boil the water vigorously for one minute for at least the next two days.
