OXFORD, Miss. — A boil water alert has been lifted for The University of Mississippi Oxford Campus.
State health officials say the tap water is now safe to drink.
Earlier this week a water main broke on campus leaving several buildings without water.
The alert was issued as a precaution, just in the case the water had become contaminated.
