JACKSON, Miss. — A burn ban has been issued for the entire state of Mississippi.

Extremely dry conditions, along with the recent increase in the number of wildfires across the state, has forced Governor Phil Bryant to declare a State of Emergency in the Magnolia State.

The proclamation didn’t say when the burn ban would be lifted.
