MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man caught on surveillance cameras stealing surveillance cameras from a local Sam’s Club is expected to be in court on Monday.

Shelby County Deputies say 44-year-old Derrick Rogers was caught stealing cameras twice from the Sam’s Club on Winchester and Highway 385.

Investigators said Rogers shoved the electronics into a backpack and casually walked out the door.

They believe he could be responsible for other thefts in the area as well.

Rogers was already facing charges for leading Shelby County Deputies on a chase back in July 2013.

Derrick Rogers is charged with aggravated assault and theft of property. He is set on a $140,000.00 bond.
