(Galveston, TX) Carnival Triumph is ready to head out to sea today.

Carnival Cruise Lines did millions of dollars in repairs to the cruise ship after an engine room fire in February.

Thousands of passengers were stranded at sea for days. They had to endure cold food, unsanitary conditions and power outages while the ship was towed to Alabama.

Triumph will resume cruises from Galveston, Texas. The first two are already sold out.
