Chairman Of FCC: “More Electronics Aboard Planes”

(Washington, D.C.) There may no longer be a need for “airplane mode.”

That’s because the chairman of the FCC is urging the FAA to allow more electronics aboard planes.

They sent a letter requesting the use of tablets, e-readers and portable devices from take-off to landing.

Right now, passengers are required to turn off their phones, tablets and computers during takeoff, even though there’s been no proof they interfere with flight services.
