(Atlanta, GA) Delta is making changes to its frequent flier rules by adding a spending requirement.
The bottom level of its Skymiles Medallion program will require a flier to spend at least $2,500 a year on tickets.
The next level requires $5,000 in ticket purchases.
Top level benefits will require $12,500 in ticket spending.
The changes go into effect next January first.
