(Memphis) A Memphis man is facing several charges – including DUI and vehicular homicide – following a fiery two-car crash on Interstate 240 near Midtown.
Police say 34-year-old Andrae Willis was driving the wrong way down the interstate near the Madison Avenue exit early Sunday – when his vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle.
When officers arrived on the scene, both cars were on fire and both drivers were trapped. Officers were able to pull Willis out of his vehicle, but the other driver died at the scene.
Willis is scheduled to be arraigned Monday morning – but that court appearance may be delayed since he remains hospitalized at the MED.
