MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Chester County Sheriff’s Department held a news conference asking volunteers to continue to help overnight searching for 2-year-old Noah Chamberlin.
Noah disappeared last Thursday when he was in the woods with his grandmother and sister.
The group was behind their home on Short Road in Pinson, Tennessee.
Search and rescue crews, including teams from the FBI, TBI and other agencies, have been combing the woods since Thursday looking for the little boy.
The terrain is rough, and the weather even harsher, but the sheriff had faith little Noah is still alive.
They called for volunteers to come out at 6 p.m. to help in the overnight search.
The sheriff told reporters so far they have searched hundreds of acres including bodies of water using infrared technology, night vision and every other modern technology they have been able to get their hands on.
He said he still considers this to be a search and rescue mission and doesn’t believe the boy’s family had anything to do with his disappearance.
