TEXAS — Chick-fil-A is known for its good food, cow commercials, and for being unique in the fact it always locks its doors on Sundays.
However, that wasn’t the case for several locations in Texas this past weekend.
According to reports, the lights were on to serve those in the community who had been impacted by the tornadoes that ripped through the state.
Chick-fil-A spokesperson Amanda Hannah told reporters via email the store wasn’t open to the public.
Instead employees volunteered to prepare meals for the first responders and victims of the tornadoes.
In all, 11 people were killed during the storms.
