Two people, including juvenile, shot in separate overnight shootings

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people, including a juvenile in Raleigh, were injured overnight in separate shootings in Memphis.

According to police, the juvenile was at the Burger King at 3951 New Covington Pike when he was shot in the parking lot. He was transported to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.


A co-worker told authorities the juvenile told her he was going out to the parking lot to buy drugs and returned with a gunshot wound.

Several hours later, authorities responded to a shooting on Brower Street near Park Avenue.

Police didn’t provide many details in that cases, but said the victim was taken to the Regional Medical Center.
