(Memphis) It’s costing a lot more these days to have someone take care of your child.

It’s so expensive in some areas of the United States, that it costs more than college tuition.

A report says center-based child care rose about 3% across the country.

Nearly two-thirds of the country’s average child care costs were more than yearly tuition and fees at a four-year public college.

The highest cost for full-time infant care last year was in Massachusetts where it can cost as much as $16,500 per year.
