MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A child was taken to the hospital overnight after an overnight in Frayser.
The Memphis Fire Department told WREG they were called to the Corning Village Apartments on Briarcrest Lane around 10:45 p.m. When they arrived, they said they found a juvenile had been stabbed in one of the apartments.
The child was rushed to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
Several hours later, the Memphis Police Department stated that the child wasn’t stabbed. Instead, they said two juveniles punched each other resulting in one of them having to be taken to the hospital. He is expected to be okay.
That same juvenile that was transported to the hospital was also issued a summons.
