MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Children’s Museum of Memphis announced it will be closed to guests on Saturday, October 17.
According to a post on the museum’s Facebook page, the area surrounding the museum will be extremely crowded on Saturday thanks to the football game being held down the street at the Liberty Bowl.
The game between the Ole Miss Rebels and the Memphis Tigers is scheduled to begin promptly at 11 a.m., with parking opening hours before that at 5 a.m.
With that many people in the area, the museum said it would be nearly impossible to get in and out of their parking lot, and it could be dangerous.
However, the museum will be open bright and early on Sunday, October 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
