MEMPHIS, Tenn. — City Council member Myron Lowery was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday.
WREG spoke with Lowery who said he went to the hospital because of an infected disc in his back.
The pain was reportedly so severe, he was having trouble walking.
Lowery told us, he would not be attending the City Council meeting today, but he would be there for the budget vote.
