(Memphis) The City of Memphis spruced up South Memphis, and did it by adding a splash of color to Soulsville.
A vacant lot across the street from the Stax Museum now glows with the golden hue of sunflowers.
A number of supporters came to see the new additions.
The flower garden project is also part of Memphis’ City Beautiful Initiative.
