(Memphis) Don’t look for the COGIC Convention to be back in Memphis anytime soon.
According to the St. Louis Business Journal, The Church of God in Christ will be holding its annual convocation in St. Louis through 2016.
Thousands of members were in Memphis back in April for a special ceremony to install their new presiding bishop.
COGIC held its conventions in Memphis until 2009.
It brought in millions of dollars to the city, and the headquarters are still in Memphis.
