Community Prays For Holly Bobo; Search and Investigation Continue

(Decatur County, TN) It’s been nearly three years since Holly Bobo disappeared from her Parsons, TN home.

She was 20-years-old at the time.

Saturday, the church Holly grew up a prayer vigil in her honor, praying for a safe return.

In a letter written by Holly Bobo’s parents and brother, the missing nursing student’s family asked for prayers for Holly’s courage and comfort.

“Pray for her safety and well-being, that God would give the strength to get through until she can be rescued,” said Pastor Don Franks of Corinth Baptist Church.

We weren’t allowed inside, but from the parking lot, News Channel 3, watched people from all over trickle in to Corinth Baptist Church, praying for Holly.

“People who never attended a church, came to our church to pray,” said one of the church’s members.

Planned weeks ago, Saturday’s prayer vigil is coincidentally just a day after the TBI searched a Decatur County home in the case of the missing nursing student.

“It made cold chills go up and down my spine whenever I realized the TBI was coming into the area,” said Franks.

Detectives arrested 29-year-old Zach Adams.

He’s charged with aggravated assault, but investigators right now aren’t linking the charges to Bobo’s mysterious disappearance.

“It wasn’t on related charges, but evidently they got something or they wouldn’t be tearing that place apart,” said a church member.

Church members say they don’t know Adams.

People In town didn’t want to go on camera, but say he’s got a long rap sheet. Just last week, Adams was arrested on theft charges.

Saturday, Adams’ criminal history wasn’t the focus for Holly’s loved ones. They are encouraged by the recent search, but they just want pray.

The letter also asks for prayers for Holly’s family, law enforcement and even Holly’s abductor.

“Everybody has a conscience we’ll pray that God will work on their conscience,” said Franks.

Even though it’s been nearly three years since Holly disappeared, they vow to not give up and not forget.
