A group that follows what people say on Twitter says there was a flurry of racist tweets on election night.
The majority of those tweets came when people learned President Barack Obama had been re-elected.
According to the website “Floating Sheep”, most of the racists remarks came from the South.
Mississippi and Alabama had the most remarks.
There were a number of tweets sent from Memphis, Southaven and Olive Branch.
The website says one person could be responsible for a large number of the tweets in a particular area.
