ST. BARTS — When David Letterman left the “Late Show” after some three decades at the desk, he let his hair down. Literally.

The 68-year-old first began sporting a white beard but his smile, eyes and hair were all the same as audiences knew for years. But now, he’s barely recognizable.

Letterman was spotted on a run in St. Barts this week with a full, bushy beard and a bald head – a drastic change that made Letterman the subject of a jokes, and jealously, online.

But regardless of the jokes, one thing Twitter users seem to agree on is this: Letterman sure looks happy.
