David Letterman signing off for the last time

NEW YORK — David Letterman has taped his last show and officially signed off for good on Wednesday after 33 years on the air.

Details surrounding the show have been kept a secret, but so far Letterman has shared his Top 10 most memorable late night moments.

Pro Wrestler Jerry Lawler made the list when he challenged Andy Kaufman from the TV Show Taxi, after Kaufman declared himself the “Intergender World Champion”.

When Letterman had both men on the show, Lawler slapped Kaufman after the two went back and forth.

Some said it’s amazing that made the Top 10 list.

“I think that was good because he got the best talk show so far. I think it was good for him to be on there, it made the show get more ratings,” said Marc Richmond.

Letterman’s last shows airs tonight after News Channel 3 at 10p.m.
