WREG goes back to court tomorrow with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services.
DCS is slated to release the second batch of records for children who died on its watch from 2009 to 2012.
The agency released the first 50 last month.
The On Your Side investigators found one Shelby County case in which a caseworker was scheduled to visit a child on the day she passed away.
This all stems from a lawsuit we filed along with the Tennessean and other media outlets after DCS refused to hand over child death records.
