(Memphis, TN) The Shelby County District Attorney’s Office has filed new charges against a 33-year-old man arrested in connection with a deadly hit and run earlier this month.

Sentell Stephens is accused of driving drunk when he hit and killed a motorcyclist.

The 33-year-old is now charged with DUI accompanied by a child and reckless endangerment in addition to several other charges, which include vehicular homicide.

Stephens’ 2-year-old son was allegedly sitting in the front seat of the car when he ran a stop sign in Orange Mound and hit Smith, who was riding with his bike club at the time.

Stephens remains behind bars on a $100,000 bond.
