(Atlanta, GA) Pilots with Delta will soon have a new accessory.
The airline is buying them all Microsoft Surface 2 tablets, which will replace all of those heavy flight kit books pilots use now.
Delta says the purchase will save the airline about $13 million a year in fuel and other costs.
Pilots flying the Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 fleets will receive the tablets first later this year.
The rest will get them by the end of 2014.
