ARLINGTON, Tenn. — An Arlington man is behind bars after sexually explicit images of a young family member were reportedly discovered on his laptop computer.

According to the report, a family member showed up at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday saying she had found several disturbing pictures on William Bradner’s computer. The images were of a teenage girl and appeared to have been taken from hidden cameras that had been placed in her bedroom.

Several of the pictures contained explicit images of the victim’s private areas.

“I think it’s very sick and twisted if you ask me. Like, that’s very perverted,” neighbor Brandon Sims said.

Arlington Community Schools confirms Bradner recently served as a chaperone on an Arlington High School trip.

We asked if the trip included any overnight stays, but the school district hasn’t answered that question.

A spokesman did tell us there haven’t been any reports of inappropriate behavior on the trip.

James Pope says he can’t believe something like this happened in Arlington.

“It’s disgusting. I mean, you wouldn’t expect that from anyone in Arlington,” he said.

The 53-year-old suspect was taken into custody and charged with eight counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

He faces faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
