DESOTO COUNTY, Miss. — Another local road in Desoto County will be shut down for several months.
The Desoto County Department of Road Management told WREG on Wednesday, Sunset Road right at Laughter Road will be closed starting July 1.
MDOT will be working on this section of roadway for the I-269 Highway.
Crews are expected to be completely done with the work by September 31.
Detours will be Byhalia and Pleasant Hill Roads.
