A third home also suffered extensive damage.

“I’m just thankful that our lives are saved,” he said.
The roof that once protected him, gone.
A few plates and bowls were the few remaining items in his kitchen.
He said he was looking for anything that wasn’t destroyed.
“Just trying to salvage our clothes, that is still dry.”
Marbury and his wife weren’t home when the twister struck. But their cat Callie was. For nearly two hours he looked for Callie.
WREG was there when he finally got some good news.
“She came out of the bedroom. She was hiding up under the dresser,” explained Marbury.
A small feeling of hope after so much loss.
“I know my wife will be happy. She’s our child.”

“I prayed. I prayed dear god teach me what you want me to know from this and help me learn more compassion and love and show me the next step you want me to take,” said his neighbor and landlord, Jeanine Hendrix.

They brought him an RV to stay in and he said he is also getting help from his church.
