MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A popular Memphis bar A-Game Bar and Grill located at 6642 Winchester Road and Kirby Road has been temporarily shut down and deemed a public nuisance.

The injunction was approved by General Sessions Environmental Court Judge Larry Potter Saturday, as a result of numerous reports of assaults and drug-related complaints.

This comes after numerous reports of assaults and drug-related complaints.

The most recent incident happened early in February. Two people were shot outside the A-Game. One was taken to Regional Medical Center in critical condition, and the other was pronounced dead at the scene.

Between January of 2014 and February of this year, police have responded to 67 complaint calls from A-Game.

The club will remain closed until further notice.

A court hearing is set for Monday before Judge Potter.
