Dozens protest police-involved shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — More than two dozen people in South Memphis took to the streets Sunday night to protest a deadly police shooting.

The group wanted to protest in front of a church but were told they had to move. They took their signs and headed to a nearby apartment complex.

Johnathan Bratcher was shot and killed by police Wednesday.

Police said he ran from a traffic stop and fired at officers, who then fired back.

Protesters said they want information, but they’ll have to wait until the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation wraps up a report and gives it to the district attorney before any information is made public.
