MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Dr. Marie Feagins has hired new counsel following the termination of her contract by the Memphis-Shelby County Schools board.

William A. Wooten reached out to multiple news outlets to let them know that he would be replacing Alan Crone as Dr. Feagins’ counsel.

In his announcement, he provided evidence preservation letters that were sent to multiple parties related to Dr. Feagins’ termination.

In those letters, he asked that paper or electronic files generated and/or stored on computer systems, cellphones or any other portable electronic devices related to Dr. Feagins’ claims such as text messages, phone logs, emails, correspondence, calender logs, social media or other public posts.
