MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A suspect led officers on a chase Wednesday evening that ended just several blocks off of Elvis Presley Boulevard.
According to Lieutenant Vennes Owens, the Memphis OCU was patrolling the area when they spotted a stolen vehicle.
The car had been stolen in a carjacking.
When they tried to pull the driver over, he refused to stop and sped off.
Officers were finally able to arrest the suspect when he bailed out of the vehicle on Pillow and Ethlyn.
The passenger stayed inside the vehicle and was taken into custody as well.
No one was hurt during the incident.
