SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — An early morning fire damaged the concession area at the Greenbrook Ball Complex in Southaven. According to reports, first responders received the call just before 5 a.m. Friday morning. When they arrived, they found that the building in the middle of the complex which houses the concessions, retail space and offices was on fire. The fire was contained to that one building, but it was mostly consumed. The contents inside were insured and valued at just over $600,000. WREG was told the complex would be up and running by the start of the Dizzy Dean Tournament set to begin on July 15. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
