(Clarksdale, MS) Police in Clarksdale are investigating a gruesome murder.
An elderly woman was robbed, killed, and set on fire.
It happened Saturday afternoon on Issaquena Street.
Police found 80-year-old Ethel Lewis on fire inside the home. Her Toyota Avalon was missing from the driveway.
It was later found in Sunflower County. Police have a 17-year-old in custody in connection with the case.
Investigators are waiting on an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
The MS Bureau of Investigation, the MS Highway Patrol and the US Marshall Service are all assisting in the case.
