LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — A young Carolina Panthers fan with brain cancer is going to the Super Bowl thanks to the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Braylon Beam, 6, of Lincoln County, North Carolina, was surprised by the news during his third appearance on the show on Friday, WGHP reported.

Ellen surprised Beam and his family with Super Bowl tickets and told them that they will be flown to California on a private jet.

Beam made headlines last year with his dance moves which led to two other appearances on Ellen’s show.

Beam, who has a tumor on his optic nerve, is no stranger to the Panthers. He signed a one-day contract as the Panthers’ head coach and danced with players after a Fan Fest practice.

The Panthers take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. It’s the first time the Panthers have been to the Super Bowl since 2004.
