Ex-wife of John Daly turns herself in

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The ex-wife of golfer John Daly turned herself in to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

She later posted bail.

Sherrie Miller Daly was wanted on warrants for extortion and harassment.

The SCSO says Miller-Daly alleged she saw explicit photos of another woman on her boyfriend’s phone.

Miller-Daly allegedly contacted the woman via text message saying she would post the photos on social media.

Detectives said Miller did post the photos to her Facebook page.

In 2014, Miller-Daly was in trouble when her 15-year-old son had 52 unexcused absences from Germantown Middle School.

She received a 90-day suspended sentence.

In 2005, she served five months in jail on federal charges for drugs and gambling.

In 2011, she wrote a book where she said she told the true story behind her marriage and happenings in the golf world.
