Jones, also known as Mimi, was killed at Ketchum and Airways during an attempted robbery while working as a Domino’s pizza delivery driver .

“I asked her when she started working if she was scared to be out there at night and she told me no.”

Mimi took the second job to provide for her family. It was a job where she would end up losing her life.

“She was out there working to to help people and her family and that’s what they should have been doing.”

Police arrested Leanthony Primer and 16-year-old Marquez Thompson, who’s accused of pulling the trigger, for the crime.

Jones’ family is now doing all they can to cope with the loss.

“I know they got flowers galore but I just had to stop and get her some because she was just as sweet as these roses.”

Family, friends and coworkers saw this as not a day to mourn, but a moment to celebrate the life that Mia lived.
