SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — The family of Troy Goode, a man who died after being allegedly hog-tied by police, has sued the city of Southaven.
The class-action suit was filed Wednesday in federal court in the Western District of Tennessee.
It seeks damages against the city and Southaven Police.
Goode, 30, died back in July after a concert in the city.
Preliminary autopsy results said Goode died from heart issues caused by LSD. A video shows police hog-tying Goode, an act which family members say killed him.
