MEMPHIS, Tenn. —  A father was injured and his son killed during a shooting in South Memphis.

Family members told WREG it all started when Dontae Craigen got into an argument with some guys on Tuesday.

Later that day as he was visiting his father on Wilson Street shots were fired by someone driving a silver Infiniti.

He died from his injuries.

“He had the kids around him. He had his fiance around him. They could`ve got shot too,” said the victim’s cousin Tracie Gordon. “People don’t think. They don’t think about that. You took somebody’s son,  father and fiance.”

The family said Craigen’s father, who was sitting on the porch, was also shot.

“I just want Memphis to stop. Just stop all the killing. It’s not necessary,” said Gordon.

“It’s putting our city in a very bad light. I have friends all the way in other states that hear about Memphis. I’m tired of it.”

No arrests have been made.
